Did you know out-of-balance tires will cause a vehicle to vibrate at certain speeds, usually between 80 and 110 km per hour? A tire is out of balance when one section of the tire is heavier than the others. One ounce of imbalance on a front tire is enough to cause a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel at about 96 km per hour.
Quality Tire Service uses the finest computer wheel balancers to ensure a smooth ride and excellent performance. Our qualified technicians mount your tire on a balancing machine that spins the wheel to identify the heaviest part. They compensate for the heavy part by attaching a lead weight on the opposite side. Our customers are pleased with how smooth their trucks drive after balancing all four wheels.
Routine wheel alignments are the most effective way to control tire costs and in turn, impact fuel costs as well. We recommend a minimum of two to three alignments per year or every 80,000 to 100,000 km as part of the average vehicle’s preventive maintenance program.
Our long-standing history of providing reliable, professional commercial tire and service has made us a leader in the fleet service industry. We welcome the opportunity to service your commercial fleet.
